The VidyoGateway is a rack-mountable appliance that easily connects H.323 and SIP equipment, including MCU's, to your VidyoConferencing system. Via the VidyoGateway, Polycom, LifeSize, Tanddberg or other MCU-based systems can interoperate with your Vidyo H.264/SVC systems. The VidyoGateway supports H.323 and SIP protocols, H.264 and H.263 video, G.711 and G.722 audio and H.239 data collaboration.

Best of both worlds - The VidyoGateway provides interoperability with the legacy endpoints whilst participating as an H.264 SVC based endpoint from the VidyoRouter’s perspective. See diagram below for network topology.

Now you're ready to participate in high definition conferences with other participants on H.323 legancy systems. All your VidyoGateway needs is connecting to your Vidyo infrastructure and to access the legancy systems network.

Alternatively, your VidyoGateway could connect to our fully supported Hosted Vidyo Service. This is ideal if you either don't have the staff, don't want the cost of outsourcing support, don't have the bandwidth resources or simply don't want the hassle of supporting it yourselves.
