Personal Desktop Video Conferencing System - All-in-One solution that doubles as PC Display

The Sony PCS-TL33P is a sleek, personal desktop video conferencing system that doubles as a PC display, providing an all-in-one solution that is easy to use via a single layer GUI and supplied mouse.

The PCS-TL33P is network ready and allows you to instantly communictate and video conference with your business counterparts over an IP connection. It is ideal for use on an individual desktop, or even in small meeting spaces.

The PCS-TL33P has been designed with a single, lightweight and slim body. It includes an embedded digital PTZ (Pan, Tilt, Zoom) camera, the video conferencing codec, a widescreen 17.1" WXGA LCD monitor that doubles as a PC display, integrated speakers, directional microphone and mouse to minimise desktop clutter.

For ease of use, the PCS-TL33P has been designed with a variety of features such as a single layer GUI, translucent cascading menus and a simple mouse operation.

The system allows you to capture and store still images from your video conferencing counterparts, which can be registered as picture icons in your address book for one-click dialling. In addition, by installing the optional PCSA-DSM1 Data Solutions Module, the PCS-TL33P allows you to send and receive any kind of data displayed on a PC to your video conferencing counterpart.

In KIOSK mode, the PCS-TL33P becomes a useful remote consulting or distance learning device. KIOSK is quick and easy to setup, will run unattended and can accommodate up to 30 preset locations, identified by your chosen picture icons, ready to connect at the click of the mouse.

The Sony PCS-TL33P is also compatible with Memory Stick removable media, making it easy to share presentations, digital pictures or files with other participants in a conference. In addition, there is a private phonebook facility. Users can store their personal contact details on a Memory Stick media card. After inserting the Memory Stick into the PCS-TL33P, the uinit automatically recognises and activates the private phonebook, thereby eliminating the need to re-enter contact information in order to place a call. The Memory Stick feature is also used to install optional software.
