The PCS-G70P has an optional 6-way internal MCU (multipoint control unit) that supports simultaneous multipoint
videoconferences between itself and up to five other endpoints. For larger videoconferences, two PCS-G70P units
can be cascased together to support a maximum of 10 endpoints. This MCU option also bridges mixed calls
between ISDN and IP networks, speed matching links (connecting each endpoint at their respective bitrate) without
lowering the performance of the entire system.
Other key features of the PCS-G70P include a site-name display function, support for up to 5 monitors that display
far-end sites in addition to the main monitor and dual-camera input which can be used to provide more video coverage.
The PCS-G70P also incorporates features such as H.239 data sharing, QoS functions, AES encryption and digital
whiteboard support.
As we enter a new era of visual communications, the feature-rich PCS-G70P will meet the needs of high-end and
large-venue videoconferencing applications.
