ViewCast added the Osprey-450e PCI Express based card to their family of video capture cards. 21st Century Video updates their On-Line Catalogue and enables full 3D Secure Authentication when accepting online payments. 3D Secure is a culmination of Verified by Visa (VbV) and MasterCard Secure Code (MSC) and is the latest fraud prevention initiative launched by the card schemes.

On 7th June 2007, the UK Switch card will become Maestro, and the Switch brand will be discontinued. MasterCard have already issued a rule that all International Maestro and UK Maestro cards must have a full 3D Secure Authentication in order for the transaction to be authorised. The UK Switch logo must nolonger be displayed.

Initially covering just the Untied Kingdom, the system will soon be expanded to incorporate payment from Europe as well as the rest of the World.
